What is a Victron Quattro and what does it do?
A Victron Quattro is an inverter charger that rolls three jobs into one box. It powers your appliances from your batteries, charges those batteries when mains or generator power is available and automatically switches between power sources to keep your system running with minimal interruption.
Picture a busy juggler keeping three balls in the air at once. The Quattro does the same with your electrics, handling three jobs so smoothly you barely notice it working.
The first job is the inverter. It takes the power stored in your batteries and turns it into the same kind of electricity that comes out of a wall socket at home.
The second job is the charger. When you plug into shore power or start a generator, the Quattro charges your batteries while still supplying your appliances.

Is it better than a standard inverter or inverter charger?
